Health Insurance & Rates
I do my best to keep my work with clients separate from insurance companies. In doing so, I find that my clients are better equipped to reach their goals and achieve more success in therapy. Often times insurance companies dictate the number of sessions that clients need and how work should proceed. I believe that these decisions should be made collaboratively with the client in order to enable the client to have choice and control of their healing process. Further, EMDR therapy works more rapidly than traditional talk therapy.
Counselling may be covered by your extended health plan. I will provide a statement of services to help you seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:
Do I have mental health/behavioural health insurance benefits?
May I choose my own therapist?
Do my benefits include counselling provided by Registered Clinical Counsellors?
What coverage amount do you provide per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
When finances are of particular concern, I can refer you to a student or a therapist intern who works under supervision and can offer diverse psychotherapy services. Payment, insurance billing and reimbursement are the responsibility of the client.

Rates
50 minute session $140 (increasing January 1, 2023 to $150)
80 minute session $190 (increasing January 1, 2023 to $210)
Payment Methods
E-transfer is my preferred payment method and can be sent to thrivewithsallyanne@gmail.com. Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal are also accepted.
